Chrysler 300C V6 AUTO for sale
| | CHRYSLER 300C SALOON V6 METALIC BLACK 20" ALLOYS, BENTLEY GRILLE, SAT NAV, FSH .
Here we have my Chrysler 300C Saloon for sale. This is a one previous owner car and has a full Chrysler service history. Finished in a stunning metallic ...> black, factory fitted with the Bentley grille and sporting 20" Startech alloys wheels which distinguish it from the norm. The luxury leather interior is in great condition and the car is better equipped than your standard 300c. It has all the things you would expect like built in Satnav, automatic wipers, climate control, heated seats, etc. The interior feels spacious as well as luxurious and the boot is vast. The Boston entertainment system sounds great and is simple to use with linked steering wheel controls and large display. The car is in mechanically great order and drives very well as you would expect for a car this new. The transmission is silky smooth and the engine runs smooth and quiet but this is no sleeper as the car can swiftly pick up speed with a glorious sound from the powerful V6 engine when required. The car has recently been taxed and has had a new MOT recently. I will upload the dates and more pictures shortly. The only bits that let the car down which are only cosmetic are the odd age related mark and some light kerbing to the alloys which Im sure could be easily rectified if desired. I sold this car on here last year but its the usual story idiot hits buy it now then proceeded to ignore my emails and phone calls. At the time I was rather annoyed as you would expect but have enjoyed keeping him a while longer but with my wedding day looming I really have to sell him now to cover impending costs. Please note that Im not prepared to deal with idiots, dreamers or test pilots. Read the listing properly if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them as quickly as I can. I tend to work long hours so cant always answer emails straight away. I can be contacted on 07580106457 with any genuine questions or to arrange a viewing but please be aware that I cant always take calls while Im at work but can catch up with messages etc on my breaks so please be patient. I will make it clear that Im not prepared to part exchange so dont bother asking me if I want your BMW X5 thankyou! X

Freeman Thomas The Chrysler 300 is a full-size near luxury type sedan that was first shown at the 2003 New York Auto Show as a concept car. Sales in the U.S. began in the spring of 2004 as an early 2005 model year car. Designed by Ralph Gilles, the new 300 was built as a high performance, sporty sedan. The Chrysler 300 is also marketed in Australia, as the first full-size Chrysler vehicle sold there since the Valiant was discontinued in 1981.
The Chrysler 300 is based on the rear-wheel drive Chrysler LX platform which features components derived from the W210 Mercedes-Benz E-Class of 1996 to 2002. Shared components include the rear suspension design, front seat frames, wiring harnesses, steering column, the 5-speed automatic transmission's design, and a derivative of the 4Matic all-wheel drive system. The Chrysler 300 also features a double wishbone front suspension that is derived from the W220 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Contents 1 Model range 1.1 Base

[edit] Base
The basic 300 (or 300C in some countries) comes with standard 17-inch wheels, wheel covers, four-wheel disc brakes, single disc mp3 player, auxiliary input jack, power driver seat and a four-speed automatic transmission. It uses a 2,736 cc (2.736 L; 167.0 cu in) EER V6 making 190 hp (140 kW). In Canada, it comes standard with the Touring model's 3,518 cc (3.5 L; 214.7 cu in) V6 engine. The vehicle comes with standard rear wheel drive and available four wheel drive. The basic 300 model was renamed to LX for 2008.[2]
[edit] Touring
The Touring model uses a 3,518 cc (3.5 L; 214.7 cu in) V6, producing 250 hp (190 kW) and 250 ft·lb (340 N·m) of torque. It also has a 4-speed automatic transmission, and comes with 17-inch aluminum wheels, AM/FM radio with CD player and auxiliary audio jack, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), remote keyless entry, leather trimmed seats, and SIRIUS satellite radio.[2]
[edit] Limited
The Limited model uses the Touring model's 3.5 L V6 engine, which generates 250 hp (190 kW) and 250 ft·lbf (340 N·m) mated to a high performance 5-speed Mercedes W5A580 automatic transmission with Autostick. Additional features include 18-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels and Chrysler's Dual-Zone Climate Control.
[edit] 300C Chrysler 300C The top-line 300C version uses a 5.7 L (345 cu in) Hemi V8.[2] Using the Multidisplacement System (MDS), this engine can run on four cylinders when less power is needed in order to reduce total fuel consumption. The United States Environmental Protection Agency has rated the 300C as getting 15 miles per US gallon (16 L/100 km; 18 mpg-imp) city, 23 miles per US gallon (10 L/100 km; 28 mpg-imp) highway. When all 8 cylinders are needed, the 300C can make 340 hp (250 kW) and 390 ft·lbf (530 N·m) torque. It uses a 5-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with 18 inch chrome-clad alloy wheels, Chrysler's MyGIG Infotainment System in 2008 and SIRIUS Satellite Radio and Backseat Television in 2008. The HEMI engine includes a pushrod induction tube, located on the side of the engine-block. This tube makes the 300C more fuel efficient and quicker, because of the air being "pulled and pushed" into the engine's induction area. The engine uses the HEMI, or double rocker configuration, with a cam-in-block, overhead valve (OHV) pushrod design. There are two spark plugs per cylinder to assure complete fuel/air mixture burn and decrease emissions.
[edit] Heritage Edition
The Heritage Edition of the 300C features the 5.7 L engine along with many of the SRT-8's exterior modification, added chrome accents, special badging, and special tires on 20 inch wheels. It is the first Chrysler vehicle with SmartBeam headlights. It also includes SRT front seats with the Heritage 300C symbols stitched into their headrests. The Heritage Edition debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2006.
[edit] SRT Design Group
In 2007, a special options package for non-SRT 300C's became available. The SRT Design group included badging, performance suspension, SRT 20-inch forged, polished aluminium wheels, SRT front seats, SRT body modifications (minus the front lip spoiler) high speed engine controller with revised tuning for 5.7 L HEMI, raising horsepower to 350 HP, high flow air cleaner system and performance exhaust (similar to the Charger R/T's Road and Track Performance Group). Other options were included but are year dependent.
[edit] SRT-8 Chrysler 300C SRT-8 Chrysler introduced the SRT-8 version of the car at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2004. It includes a new 370-cubic-inch, 6.1 L Hemi V8 which produces 425 hp (317 kW). Preliminary performance targets for the 300C SRT8 are 0-60 mph in the low 5-second range and quarter-mile time in the high 13-second range. However, it has been proven many times by owners that stock versions of the SRT8's have performance figures that are: 0-62 mph (0–100 km/h) in well under 5 seconds and with a 1/4 mile time in the low 13 second range. It went on sale in February 2005 and has a sticker price of US$43,695 as of 2006 plus applicable taxes. Additional features include leather SRT-8 performance-embossed seats and 20-inch forged, polished aluminum wheels, Brembo brakes, and a rear lip spoiler.
[edit] Improvements
The 2007–2008 SRT-8 models have a rear spoiler moulded into the body. This is also standard throughout the entire 300 line-up. The earlier models from 2005 to 2006, did not have the lower air dam like the 2007 models. This increased cooling to the engine by as much as 30%.
[edit] Other variants
[edit] Station wagon 2008 Chrysler 300C Touring The 300C is sold in Europe and Australia as both a sedan and a station wagon. The station wagon is sold as the 300C Touring (not to be confused with the North American sedan's "Touring" trim level) which shares much of its sheet metal aft of the c-pillar with the Dodge Magnum. The 300C Touring differs from the Magnum in that it's frontal styling and interior are that of the 300C instead of the less-luxurious Magnum. The base Chrysler 300 is not sold in Europe, instead all cars come with the 300C bodystyle/interior and a choice of either V6, diesel or V8 gasoline powerplants. All 300C Touring models, along with European 300C sedans and right-hand drive models, are built by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria.
[edit] Diesel
In Europe and Australia, the 300C is available with a 3.0 L diesel V6 engine (internal code OM642) developed by Mercedes-Benz. It produces 218 hp (163 kW) and 376 lb-ft of torque and will soon be available with NOx BlueTec clean-diesel technology.
[edit] Executive Series 300
The idea to extend the 300 came from Bradley A. Blakeman to Chrysler executives attending JD Powers Automobile Roundtable in New Orleans, LA in 2004. The Walter P. Chrysler Executive Series 300, is an extended wheelbase version of the 300 that was shown for the first time at the 2006 New York Auto Show. It has six inches (152 mm) of extra length, which has been added to the rear passenger compartment. The extended wheelbase model will be built by Accubuilt, at an outside specialty vehicle modifier normally known for building limousines and hearses. Although built by this outside company, it is fully backed by Chrysler and sold through Chrysler dealerships.[3]
The extended wheelbase 300 competes with the Lincoln Town Car and Cadillac DTS in the American livery market.
[edit] The 3000
The Chrysler 3000тм is an aftermarket limousine variant of the 300. It is available in various lengths and internal styles.
[edit] ASC Helios 300 Chrysler 300 convertible ASC created a convertible version of the Chrysler 300C, dubbed the ASC Helios 300, and showed it at the Detroit Auto Show in early 2005. Despite rumors, Chrysler has confirmed that the vehicle will not be produced. However, a convertible version of the 300 is available from Coach Builders Limited located in High Springs, Florida.[4]
[edit] Awards
The 300C was the 2005 Motor Trend Car of the Year and was on Car and Driver's Ten Best list for 2005 and 2006. It also won the North American Car of the Year and Canadian Car of the Year Best New Luxury Car awards. During it's debut year, it was promoted as being one of the most awarded new cars ever.

38,606 [edit] Concepts In 1999, Chrysler introduced the 300 HEMI C.[8] It was a 2+2 convertible bearing the new 5.7 litre HEMI engine with 353 horsepower (263 kW) and 353 lb·ft (479 N·m) torque. It had rear wheel drive and a four speed automatic transmission. It was capable of 0-60 mph in under 6 seconds.
In 1991, Chrysler introduced a concept 300.[9] It used the engine of the Dodge Viper. It was inspired by the Monteverdi High Speed, a 1970s Swiss-built sedan powered by Chrysler. [edit] Future
Chrysler plans to launch a redesigned version of the Chrysler 300 in 2010. Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli stated, "In the pipeline for 2010: A brand new 300, a brand new Charger ... a brand new Jeep, the pipeline is full, plus we have these smaller vehicles coming through partnerships and alliances".[10]

6 ISSUES FOR £1 Search Car Reviews: You're in - Car Reviews: New Reviews Chrysler 300C The Chrysler is not perfect, but no other rival has the same visual impact. Auto Express Car Reviews Rating: On the road price: £27,995 - £43,995 For : Great styling, surprisingly agile handling, rear legroom Against : Petrol cars' thirst, over-firm ride, steering kick-back DrivingThe huge 300C is surprisingly agile for one so large. There's lots of grip and it can be driven with much more vigour than you'd expect. And while the steering suffers excessive kickback, this doesn't spoil overall driver enjoyment. Ride quality is excellent, and the big Chrysler is superb on the motorway – though body control could be better over rough roads, where the suspension struggles. The Mercedes-sourced diesel has ample grunt, proving smooth and potent on the road (though it can be a little noisy at high revs). The most difficult aspects of 300C motoring are parking and low-speed manoeuvrability. It's more than five metres long and the dash stretches out far ahead, making the front difficult to place. Even the rear view mirror is difficult to adjust as it's so far from the driver.MarketplaceThe 300C is one of the most unmistakable cars on the road, with real presence. For buyers looking for something different, the Chrysler fits the bill perfectly. It was facelifted in 2008, but changes were subtle, limited to revised rear light clusters and a boot spoiler for the saloon. Chrysler keeps the line-up of four-door saloon and five-door Touring estate models simple: there is a niche 6.1-litre V8 SRT-8 performance model, but the bulk of 300C sales are powered by a Mercedes-supplied 3.0-litre CRD turbodiesel, mated to a standard auto gearbox. The mainstream trim line is straightforward, too – either standard or SRT-Design variants, the latter with muscle car styling cues. The market for executive cars is dominated by saloons from the big three German makers - Audi with its A6, BMW's 5-Series and the Mercedes E-Class. But there are value options like the Chrysler too, including the elderly Saab 9-5 and mediocre Peugeot 607. OwningAlthough interior packaging isn't brilliant, the 300C is so big that rear legroom is very impressive. Larger passengers may find headroom tight though, while the transmission tunnel is intrusive. Seat comfort isn't a problem but the large steering wheel adjusts for rake only, not reach. Design and layout are good and build quality is reasonably impressive - not Audi-standard, but decent - while equipment levels are unrivalled! Predictably, there's a large boot (which, annoyingly, lacks an external release handle). The Tourer offers 630 litres of space even with the rear seats in place – dropping them increases this to 1,602 litres. However, fuel economy could be better. Despite being a diesel, the 3.0-litre CRD averages just 34.9mpg. Residuals are pretty decent, though. Chrysler has a reasonably comprehensive dealer network in the UK, too and service intervals are a decent 12,500 miles. Insurance ratings mirror executive competitors. I get pretty annoyed reading about a 30 grand car being put against a 50 grand car. The price I use is cars with the same trim and accessories. My car is fantastic for the price and always gets admiring glances. By jimmyg on 25 December, 2009, 10:29pm 300c SRT This is my second chrysler having previously owned a pt cruiser and i'm very impressed.i've already covered 2000 miles in the month since i collected it and so far so good.
The car is very quiet and suprisingly nimble despite it's imposing size.it's also very comfortable on a long drive.my only minor question is the fuel economy has yet to reach official figures but i'm hoping a few more miles will sort that. Expert Rating: The 3.5-Litre V6 model may be the entry level petrol-powered Chrysler 300C but it has a lot going for it. Andy Enright reportsSome cars are eternally cast to suffer by comparison. Take the Chrysler 300C 3.5 V6 as an example. Priced identically to its diesel sibling, its markedly slower, drinks significantly more fuel and emits a good deal more carbon dioxide per kilometre travelled. On the face of it, this car seems dead in the water. Drive one and youll find it actually has a lot to offer.Lets dispense with the diesel comparison first. Some customers just dont get on with diesel cars and prefer the silken refinement of a decent petrol engine. As good as the 3.0-litre CRD diesel engine is, its certainly not up to the buttery smoothness of the 3. 5-litre petrol powerplant at typical motorway cruising speeds. Yes, it has a whole lot more torque available, but the petrol engine counters with the best engine note in the whole 300C Range and yes, that does include the Range-topping Hemi V8 models. Another factor weighing in the 3.5-litre cars favour is that the diesel and the V8 engines are both big, heavy lumps whereas the petrol V6 engine is a whole lot lighter. Youll feel this the moment you go to tip the car into a corner. Although no 300C has what youd describe as balletic body control, the petrol V6 sniffs out an apex and clings to it better than any of its siblings. Twirl the wheel inelegantly and the 300C responds with a sensation that the upper and lower sections of the car arent talking to one another, but drive in a smooth and sympathetic manner and the car handles very well, the sophisticated multilink suspension soaking up mid-corner jolts without complaint. Ball jointed lateral links and tension struts in the front suspension replace the usual one-piece lower control arms and create a virtual pivot point for the tyre. This, in turn, isolates the rack and pinion steering from reaction to vertical deflection from bumps without compromising what test drivers describe as hand/wheel response."This is a vast, supersized, hunk of car for not a great deal of money"The engine is good for 253bhp which, when the £26,250 asking price is taken into account, is some going. Theres no Touring estate option with this engine: to get that versatility, you have to opt for V6 diesel or V8 petrol power. Chrysler are nothing if not realistic about this cars market position and dont pretend that its a natural Audi A6, Mercedes E Class or BMW 5 Series rival, but put the 300C up against next tier models like the Saab 9-5 and Jaguar S-TYPE and it utterly decimates them in terms of value for money. Specify either of these cars to broadly the same level as the 300C and a 185bhp Saab 9-5 2.3T works out 10. 3 per cent dearer and the 240bhp Jaguar S-TYPE 3.0 V6 is a hefty 16.1 per cent more expensive. Thats not exactly loose change by any stretch of the imagination. Flog the 300C off the line and itll reach 60mph in 8.9 seconds and keep going until it hits 136mph which, on the face of it, doesnt seem wholly stellar for an executive saloon packing this much power but there are a couple of caveats. Firstly, this is a seriously big car with more space in the rear than a BMW 7 Series or a Jaguar XJ and tips the scales at a distinctly American weight. Secondly, the 300C is fitted with a five-speed automatic gearbox as standard that blunts all-out acceleration a tad. The gearbox loves shunting you into a very high gear, usually attempting to default to a subsonic 1,500-2,000rpm given half a chance. At this point, its entirely possible to prod the accelerator pedal to the floor and back again without the rev needle moving a millimetre. Get a little more persistent with the loud pedal and the car will kick down to around 4,500rpm, indicating that youre some 3,000rpm shy of where the real fun happens. As soon as it drops a cog or two, youre treated to a meaty bark from the engines triple plenums that wouldnt sound out of place coming from a NASCAR racer. You still wont be accelerating at a concussive rate but the glass half-full perspective is that youre getting all the effects without licence-threatening numbers appearing on the clocks. Drive the car a little sedately and you may be able to replicate Chryslers claimed 25.7mpg combined economy figure. The 262g/km emissions figure is unlikely to endear the 300C 3. 5 V6 to those looking to run one as a company car. Indeed, most corporate types will still prefer something like a BMW 320d, a car which in SE trim comes within about £1,000 of the Chryslers asking price. Judged objectively, the BMW is probably the better car, and fleet managers will judge objectively. Private buyers work to a different set of criteria, however, and the 300C will put an enormous smile on your face every time you throw open the drapes and see it sitting on your drive in a way the BMW never could. Call it a sense of occasion, a big personality, whatever, but the 300C has it in spades, making the Munich car feel as if its undergone charisma bypass surgery. Youll be able to chuckle at the way the BMWs 16-inch wheels look toe-curlingly feeble, whereas the Chryslers big 18-inch split five-spoke alloys bulge from their arches as if pumped up on testosterone. The interior is a long way from the usual ugly American stereotype and only the rather token faux tortoise shell on the door pulls and steering wheel jar somewhat. The quality of plastics doesnt match the Euro norm but the design and finish is tidy enough. Theres a vast boot, a 60/40 rear split seat, heated leather seats with electric adjusters, dual zone temperature controls, cruise control, metallic paint, self levelling suspension and a six-speaker Boston Acoustic Sound System that packs a 280-watt punch. ESP stability control, front and rear side curtain airbags, xenon headlights, a tyre pressure monitor and ultrasonic rear parking assist are a few other features that will reside on the options list of rivals but are standard on the 300C. Chrysler acknowledge that 80 per cent of all UK 300C sales will go to the diesel car with the lions share of the remainder being mopped up by the V8 hemi models. That leaves the 3. 5-litre V6 without a significant slice of the pie. If I was spending my money, Id buy the identically priced diesel version but the petrol engine has a certain charisma. Try both and see if youre one of a select few.NEED TO KNOW CAR: Chrysler 300C 3.5 V6 Auto PRICE: £26,250 on the road INSURANCE GROUP: 16 CO2 EMISSIONS: 262g/km PERFORMANCE: 0-60mph 8.9s / Max Speed 136mph FUEL CONSUMPTION: (urban) 17.9 (extra urban) 34.4 (combined) 25.7mpg STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES: ABS, stability and traction control, brake assist, twin front airbags, front and rear curtain airbags WILL IT FIT IN MY GARAGE?: length/width/height mm 5015/1880/1475 WHO TO SEE: Build Comfort Depreciation Economy Equipment Handling Insurance Performance Styling Value Friday November 17 Send by Messenger Email this article Print ADVERTISEMENT if(window.yzq_d==null)window.yzq_d=new Object();
