problem and engine sounds sweet.Single point LPG system needs TLC - have been quoted approx £1000 to get it sorted (upgrade to multipoint). is reliable a good runner and starts first time everytime. It has never given me any problems in the 16 months I have owned it. It only needed tyres to pass its mot and I have had the windscreen replaced due to a couple of chips that started crack and have replaced the battery. into my previous car writing it off. I now have a replacement car and so no longer need this car. I have enjoyed driving it and it brings back memories of holidays in Florida. Car was first registered 03/1997 and has had 3 previous owners. The last owner had it only briefly but sold it because his wife found the car too big for what she wanted. I bought the car at the end of Feb 2010. There are a number of previous MOT certificates the first one showing 61000 miles in March 2007 last one showing 85171 miles and the car has now done 90724 so I have covered approx 5000 miles in the car. I have the V5 document. There is a full service history up to 57000 miles in August 2006. The car has air conditioning and is an automatic. Good points 1. Drives great engine is smooth and starts on the key first time every time. 2. Exhaust seems in good condition. 3. Paintwork is in good condition apart from a few scratches and marks as you would expect for a car of this year no signs of rust. 4. Interior is really in excellent condition. The seats are very comfortable and seem to have lost non of their padding. 5. Carpets are all excellent and comes with front rugs. 6. Tyres are all good no slow leaks or anything and all have plenty of tread on I see them lasting 10-20000 miles easy. 7. Air condition is working fine and have used it on and off through the summer. I think if worked hard it could do with a little more gas not that it will be needed again before next summer. 8. Brakes seem fine. 9. MOT until March 2011. Bad points 1. Remote central locking isn`t working. Best to use the keys to lock and unlock the doors. 2. The button to lock central locking on the drivers door doesn`t always lock the drivers door. For some reason the driver door lock can also pop up again after the car has been left. 3. The car has developed a fault when the engine is warm if you drive over 60 mph the engine starts to jerk. Drop below 60mph and it is fine. I have been told that this could be the MAP sensor. I had a friend plug his diagnostic machine into the car and it said there was a fault on the ignition coil. I replaced this but it has made no difference. 4. The radiator started a small leak a couple of weeks ago I used the radiator sealant mix you pour into the radiator and this seems to have cured the leak. I still have to top up the radiator every few days so maybe there is still a small leak when driving. I don`t know if this is a sign of a head gasket going but there is no overheating of the engine so I don`t know. 5. There is a small oil leak from the engine. So the car does leave an oil patch if parked in the same area again and again. I have just topped up the engine with oil every week or two. I haven`t investigated where it is coming from. Well I think that is it. I am sure any mechanically minded individual with a little time on their hands could keep this car running nicely. The car has MOT until March 2011 and is taxed until Dec 2010. I can get £100 for this car for scrap so starting the car off at £170 to include the tax certificate. More recently I spent £411 (May 2009) on repairs including new shoes, wheel cylinders, wheel bearings and 2 new tyres. Since then it passed its MOT first time with no work. The engine runs brilliantly and always starts first time and generally does 35-38 miles to gallon. Good Points Great Condition body work and engine, 10 disc CD changer, relatively cheap insurance, no rust and good condition bodywork. Passed both MOTs under my stewardship no problem. Great family car. Bad Points A few dents on the pasengers rear door (but no rust), I have disabled the central locking and just open manually as it was a little tempermental. All in all this is a great car and have enjoyed it immensely but I am reluctantly selling as I dont want to give away on a part ex deal when I buy my new car.
